The structure of the Philo Affiliate mirrors that of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. by having officers at the local level and executive boards at the regional and national levels. 

 

The word "Philo" means friend. Philo members are women of the highest caliber who work in partnership with the sorority to promote and support programs that contribute to a positive quality of life through community service. Local Philos render valuable service to their community and render joint service with others. Philos are at the regional and national levels. 

 

Activities include scholarship fundraisers, voters registration drive, youth mentoring, tutoring, food/book drive, and pagentry.
